It doesn't protect your car just letting you know.

It MINORLY does, it's just a clear coat.

Whats good for protection then, like i said, i dont want a million scratches on my car after owning it for 1 year cause hamilton cant maintain their roads

You can get it opti-coated but those are usually $275-$400 easy.

You could also get a clear bra ON-TOP of that.

I'm not saying that doing those things won't protect it, it should from minor rocks, but the reality is it's almost impossible to protect your car from anything .

Alternatively you could get the hood deflector, or look into it at least.

The stuff to protect the front wont help me, most of the rocks are are hitting the rear panels and doors due to every road under construction and none finished.

That sounds like a nightmare.

Give opticoat a try.

hamilton is right in the middle of either Toronto or WNY.

don't have much of an option, you could either drive to see Mike at Auto Aesthetica or you could come to toronto and I could do it for you.

but if you main concern is rock chips, then get a clear bra, no other replacement for it. nothing beats a clear bra, if that won't protect it, then nothing else will stand a chance.

Thanks for the info boredstudent3
Questions:
What product do you use? Opti-Guard or Opti-Coat? Pricing info?

You can still get rock chips with the clear bra. Try to not stay so close to the car in front of you at higher speeds. That works better than any form of protection.

Call Kevin at www.gtaindetail.com, he's in Mississauga, off the 401. He did my car.

There are a few popular detailers for Opti-Coat on the FR-S/BRZ platform
Kevin @ gtaindetail
Bryan @ Concours
Hamza @ Elevated

Those are just a few at the top of my head. Call all of them and see who is closer.

Thanks for mention BrianC, Brian himself is also a great detailer.

I'm actually mobile so I can come to you and I am a sponsor, not to mention a authorized Opti Guard Installer
