Add me to the list CEL at 2025 miles

This morning right as I pulled into work the idle dipped and the car started to run like crap. CEL was flashing to indicate misfire but did not come on solid. Rev'd it a few times and it died. Restarted and continued to run like crap. Called roadside to come pick it up.

It was just running rough. I figure it's under warranty, why risk it? Let them pay for it. Got a 2012 Outback loaner. I'm also having them look at the nav issue.

My car started the idle dip when I pulling into my driveway from work yesterday, and this morning on my way to work the check engine light came on... I am at 1988 miles.

Looks like they are replacing both cam sprockets. Parts will be in tuesday. We will see.

I got one of the first FR-S available in Canada noticed the idle dip when I was backing the car out of the dealer showroom. Since that time 4 months ago my car has stalled once and ran very rough on a few occaisions. The idle dip on my car is almost always happening and the engine shudders every time it occurs. Sometimes it seems worse than other times. I have had other weird things happen with the car which I'm not sure are related. Sometimes the car runs like the brakes are slightly engaged. This usually happens if it's been sitting overnight. Earlier this week the car had these 'tranny thumps' happen every time I put my foot on the brake and took it off while stopped behind another vehicle. On friday I'm hoping to get the right tailight replaced because it's filling with condensation. The only thing I haven't had happen is the engine chirp.

4400kms

They gave me a no fault found with the Nav. Told me chirping noise is "normal" clicking. told them it's not a click, it's a high pitched chirp. I told them about the scion TSB and the high pressure fuel pump. They will look into it and call me tomorrow.

My dealer told me that they would have the parts for the TSB tomorrow (parts are available in California) and then they told me that they think the other issue is related to the ECU (which are on back order for at least 3 weeks).

Just got a call from the dealer today. They got one cam gear in but the other is on national backorder. They did not know how long it would be. I also asked if they were replacing the ecu and they said the Subaru Tech line said just the cam gears to start. I told them that most people are having other parts replaced as well and they were going to look into preemptively ordering the other parts. So now we play the waiting game. I am betting it will be another 3-4 weeks.

Just got another call telling me that their field engineer will be out Monday to look at the car and reflash the ecu without changing the other parts. We will see.
