iphone 5 and FRS information
 

for anyone that is just curious and doesnt have an Iphone 5 and wanted to know compatability with the stock system since they have changed the plug.

I have the stock pioneer NON-bespoke and I can tell you all you have to do is plug your Iphone 5with the stock lightning connector into the usb no adapter required, push the BTA/USB button to USB and it will play your ipod, and pandora. It will let you search your "ipod" and display the song info for both "ipod" and pandora

I got the the iphone 5 too.
Camped out for it! 8th in line. They had 16 registers :thumbup:

haha your crazy, I got lucky pre-ordered mine from att, got it friday, then after work I went to Apple and stood inline for like 20 mins and go my mother her 64gb, and my girlfriend her 16gb

It was cool just for the experience. I went with my friends and we had a blast. haha

Ahhh, I remember the days where I stood in line for random Apple products...


And, yeah, any iPhone/iOS device should be plug-n-play for audio...

On some radios they are some they are not , alot have the USB with the 3.5mm like the stock cable for older apple stuff . I go to bestbuys and other car audio places to test lol

I have the bespoke system and the bespoke app doesnt display on the radio screen so i'll just have to wait till the 30 pin adapter comes out

Did you see any hipsters waving their Samsung Galaxy S3's around next to the line like in the commercials? :lol:

there is a good chance its not going to work. the adapter wont do any video out

Bluetooth works no problem

They will, but it won't be available until October.
