Hey FRS / BRZ owners,

I'm trying to get your feedback and gauge your interest on the ENKEI RC-T4 wheels:

http://www.enkei.co.jp/images/wheels.../img_ph_01.jpg

The wheels are super-lightweight thanks to Enkei's M.A.T. Dura Flow Forming technology, extremely strong and durable, and suitable for owners looking to get larger brake calipers and discs. They come in a 17'' & 18'' sizing for BRZ and FRS owners and also come in a White, Silver, Gold, Bronze, and Metal Gray finish:

The Enkei RC-T4 are not available through Enkei USA, however, because of our close relationship with Cusco USA, we can bring in the wheels for those of you who want some unique JDM wheels for your BRZ & FRS. I would consider bringing this in if I had probably 5 serious buyers.

Here's some pictures of the Cusco BRZ with 18x8.5 ET48mm Enkei RC-T4 all around with some sticky Yokohama S-Drive 245/35/18 rubbers:

What offset is available for the 17"?
Any idea of weight?

Thanks for bringing this up. Great idea.

ModBargains 09-26-2012 10:33 PM

According Enkei Japan:

17x7.5 - ET48mm - 5x100
17x8.0 - ET48mm - 5x100

I'm not sure about the weight of a 17'' RC-T4, but the last time I visited Cusco, I weighed their 18x8.5 ET48mm and it was like 18.XX lbs. Really lightweight!

Too high of an offset for an aftermarket wheel. When do you think we'll see some lower offset and wider widths? I'm personally interested in a 17x9 and 17x10 +35 enkei RPF1 or even the RC-T4.

diirk 09-26-2012 11:01 PM

The 17x8 would be worth considering if the offset was +35 or so.

ngabdala 09-27-2012 12:13 AM

Does offset affect what size brakes can be installed?

zkubidu 09-27-2012 12:28 AM

Agreed with the above two posts; I'd definitely be interested if 17x9 +35 were around. Also, a confirmation on weights for the aforementioned sizes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the news!

17X9 +40 or 17X9.5+40 would be sick

ebphoto 09-27-2012 01:22 AM

18x9.5 +40... would hope for +30 but know they wouldnt go that aggressive.

Superhatch 09-27-2012 01:39 AM

Is there any benefit, aside from looks for having a lower offset? Is there a concern that if the offset is too high you will have inside fender rub or something?

OP...these things look great. If you get pricing, PM me. Also, do you have other pics on the BRZ/FRZ, perhaps in another color?

personally i dont like sunk wheels.
they dont have the x9.5 +30 in 5x100.
ive always been a fan of these in bronze.. would love them for track wheels in all honesty.

I would love a pair of 17 or 18 in white. But please post the weight. Thanks

mickey177 09-27-2012 09:58 AM

I think your are close. Because i looked around and there was a groupbuy on this site http://www.iwsti.com/forums/vendor-g...er-rare-2.html for 18x9 and some said it weigh 18lbs. I wish these things were more readily available from the manufacture.
