So what's the latest and greatest in PnP HID kits?

It's probably the first mod I'll do to my car. I'd like to do a plug an play 35w 5500k or 6000k kit.
Who sells them and what should I expect to pay for one?
Please tell me about your personal experiences as well (YOURS, not others on the forum, or a friend, or brother's cousin's friend's kid... YOURS)

Thanks

I ordered the Morimoto HID Elite kit from TheRetroFitSource.com they aren't the cheapest but are good quality and have great customer service. Second choice would have been from Meng Motorsports.

Thanks for replying!
How do you like them so far?

Being shipped here now, if you call them and tell them you are a FR-S owner you get a pretty good discount.

I got mengmotorsports hids, you can read my review in the vendor review section, their good products, good communication.

+1 for Morimoto Elite. You can't go wrong with our kits or theirs. I know this is a pretty old thread but the question of "Who sells them and what should I expect to pay for one?" is a good one that we get a lot. In short I really wouldn't recommend any kits that are around the "$60" price that you see commonly on Ebay and such. You might get lucky and get a kit that lasts you a year or more, but theres a high chance that you may get a bad kit and not be able to get any customer service from the company. Also the fact that they can sell a kit at that cheap really makes same wonder how much they even get it for.

Companies like retrofit and us charge the prices we do because well, we believe its fair and because we can't charge any less. You won't see us driving around in Ferrari's from selling these kits, but the price you pay for the kit will show once you receive it. Thanks again for the support everybody!

DDM Tuning...cheap price, easy to install, and look great. I'm not car savvy at all and I was able to read a DIY/watch a video on how to install these off youtube and I did it with no problems.
