Whiteout FRS
 

Hey guys this is my first post. I am trading in my 2003 Mach 1 for the White out FRS. I put down my 200 deposit today for them to transport the car to my local dealership

The first mod I want to do is put the emblem swap on the exterior. Can anyone tell me if in Japan there is a GT86 on the rear like where the FRS is on it currently?

Hey Dan,

Congrats on the new car! To answer your question, no, the 86 in Japan is just called the "86". The GT86 designation is for Europe and Australian (edit: just European) markets. The rear of the Japanese-spec car simply has a Toyota emblem where the Scion emblem would be.

No, it's "86" in Australia with two models being GT and GTS (low spec/high spec)

Japan has 86 GT, RC, and GT limited.

Whoops! Sorry, it's early and my coffee hasn't kicked in. Either way, JDM cars do not have anything besides the Toyota emblem on the decklid.

Thanks guys I apprecite the replies. I got a call from Toyota today. My car will be in Thursday but I am having heated leather seats installed so it probably wont be ready for pick up until next week. Other wise I am excited and this looks likes a great forum so I will post pics when I get the car in my possession.

First I want to get the emblems then wheels and tires. I orginally was going to go with hot lava but looking at the pics that whiteout looks so clean so I changed my mind.

Anyways thanks for the answers much appreciated. Getting on ebay now to order the toyota emblems.
