Gezzz its been a long wait, but finally I have my 86.

It was a sad day also. Handing in the keys for my celica. Had it for 12 years and it will never be forgotten. :cry: It served me well.
Now, finally, I have aircon, no leaking oil's and fluids, no rust and i dont have to clutch start every 2nd day.

Picked her up midday yesterday, had to rush back to work due to a server failure in NZ. Painful. Eventually got out of the office after 4 and went for a nice drive.

GTS is awesome, i love all the extra bits, and the seats are just... :drool:

So happy with the Tornado Grey, It just looks awesome. :wub:
Ohhh Manual, No more Popping out of 2nd gear or crunching. It's notchy, but feels great. No regrets at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clocked up about 150km last night, just didnt want to stop driving. Its a dream to drive and im loving every minute. (at work now watching the clock tick over so i can go for a drive after work)

Been taking it easy, but not real easy. Still been giving a bit of gas here and there. So used to being a lead foot with the celica due to the lack of power.

Took it down through the national park, just cause i had to. Windows down, seat warmers on. Wow, words cant explain how fun this car is.

So was getting close to home around midnight and it just started raining.

I think you guys know where this is going. All nannies off, and had a bit of corner fun in 1st and 2nd gears. F*cken Brilliant.

Wife is already asking me to teach her how to drive manual. Was avoiding her question. :thumbsup:

Ohh yeah, Numbers plates. Had them for 12 years.... My name - Jani V. (Yarni)
Struggled to take them off the celica. Had to break one the back nuts as the old nuts were rusted tight. Looking at getting some new plates (same) in next few weeks. Same or Black or metallic grey, not sure yet. Also waiting for my Slim number plate holder.

Feel sorry for you guys still waiting, but the wait is so worth it.

The Grey is growing on me, tough thing about deciding on a colour before seeing any of them in the flesh lol.
