It is front and rear sway bars.

Do you guys think they'll ever have the TRD Coilover system available for the US market? I have no desire to pay $4000 for a graymarket item when the only reason I want it is to keep my warranty cherry. lol

You'd have to have a pretty lousy technician/service dept. if they deny a warranty claim because you installed TRD Japan parts on your car...

I'd like to reserve my judgement on the local dealer's tech dept. and how hey deal with these issues, but it's not something I'd like to have chap my hide down the line. =p

Doesn't it matter who installed the product as well? Correct me if I'm wrong, but even though you bought a TRD part from your local dealer, wouldn't they have to perform the install? You could buy an authentic part, but then have some backyard hack install it, which would still void the warranty from what I recall.

What about the armrest?

No, the only reason to deny warranty in a situation like that is if faulty installation caused the issue.

Not yet in Canada anyway.

That's what I thought (and would think), the only reason I have that question there is because the 2013 TRD USA catalog that was just released lists it as being for the rear only.

You gotta wonder right, I have a case open with SOA and I was told if I install some Canadian inclement weather floor mats it would void my warranty. You would think they would want you to put the right floor mats , the ones with the holes to lock them and keep them from sliding. I still can't believe the case manager from Scion of America told me that.

They're supposed to officially announce all the new TRD parts for the 86/FR-S this weekend at the Paris Motor Show.

Squishy86 09-25-2012 03:07 AM

So what about the TRD kit? Is that an official US release?
