Palm Beach County meet 9/29

Hello folks, I'd like to get to know some of you so I'd like to organize a meet for this Saturday starting around 3-5p somewhere in the Palm Beach county area, we have 3-4 people that should be able to come and would love to see more. Post here if you're interested, and feel free to suggest meeting spots and times, as I will try to reach out to everyone and see what works best for all of us.

Oh, and I'm aware of HIN happening down in Miami this weekend, so we might try for another day if attendance looks thin.

I have two comments, One, it would be nice if the place was closer to Ft. Lauderdale, to make it midpoint between WPB and Miami.

Second, that Sat. might be even busier because the track event at the Countyline RD track was postponed due to rain and I believe it will happen next Sat.

Well, that could make it up to a 40 minute drive for everyone. How does everyone feel about that? There seems to be plenty of activity in Miami but no love for PBC. :P

That's a good point. I guess its ok to make it up there since there is not much activity

For a bigger event like once every couple months, a longer drive is no problem for most, but for a weekly or even monthly meet you'll start having attendance problems, because as much as we love our cars, the highway is not a very fun drive.

Hey Raul,

Why don't we try to do a meet by Markham park in Weston,FL that is more in the middle for palm beach and Dade people.

If you want I could help arrange the meet and maybe we could make it a BBQ day and I will also sponsor the event.

With enough attendance I'd be willing to make that drive. It's just over an hour for me. I'm at I-95 exit 71, in the heart of WPB

I live in west palm and work in broward. Honestly Markham is at the bottom of the county its more convenient for the miami guys though. I think its best to do a park based even with some fun and food since its not going to be hundreds of cars showing up. And everyone can get to know each other throughout the day.

If it's a weekly meet it should be kept pretty local for those attending. On a monthly meet we could get a way with some longer drives, so we can make Markham a monthly. I'm down for that.
