Best and cheap track wheels in 17x8

I'm pretty bummed the stock wheel is only 17x7. Because of that I've decided to set them aside for a rainy day instead of mounting sticky tires on them.

What wheels do you all recommend for a cheap track set? I don't care about tearing these up, hence = cheap.

The BRZ isn't a particularly heavy car so Rotas, XXRs, and others are not off the table. Was also thinking of picking up a set from the STi guys but I've come to learn that the 5x100 BBS Sti wheels are rare and $$. Any help would be appreciated!

Can we please not make these another cheap wheel debate? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Define cheap? What about Kosei K4R? $199 a pop. Very light and affordable.

Enkei RPF1?

TSW Trackstar 5 17x8 +35 i can't seem to track down the weight on it but i thought they were pretty light and i know somebody that can get them for you ;) i'll keep looking for others also. What's your budget on this set feel free to text me or pm and we can find you another set. Are you happy with your 530's for street use?

This would be my default set but they're a bit more than I wanted to spend but for good wheels I may pony up. The problem is.. they aren't the most BBK friendly so i'll wait to see how people on here have accomondated for BBKs on the RPF1s.

The 530s have been great so far! Just what I wanted. Not too heavy and pretty versatile in the looks dept. I won't feel so bad curbing these when i'm coming home from work at 10pm after a long day lol. Thanks very much for your help with them!

Will keep on searching a bit more for "track" wheels. Maybe I can find a set of take-offs from a newer WRX. If the TSWs aren't too expensive I'd be down.

In widths below 9", The 17" RPF1s are convex and quite BBK friendly, at least in 5x114.3 sizes. FD RX-7s can run 17x8 +35 or +45 and 17x8.5 +40 RPF1s with StopTechs according to my info (RX7club and Enkei). S2000 is tight with the 17x8 +45, apparently needs 2-3mm spacers for reasonable clearance, while the +35 and 8.5" +40 clear (multiple S2ki.com threads).

Motegi MR125 are 17x7.5 5x100 +42 and weigh 16.3 lbs

about $700 for a set of 4

I think this is the best deal for $ to lbs ratio... and they look pretty good too

this is likely what I will go with for my raven

Those are pretty nice. Modbargains sells them too. Maybe they can get a weight.

that's what I found too, but it was a different offset wheel. So I was looking for something more accurate. Love those wheels though. Would just like to know which TSW wheel in that size/offset is the lightest.
