Whats with November the 13th? (Correction, Nov. 30th)
 

Ok, so Tokyo Motor show is December 2—11, 2011. So why has Nov 13th been mentioned in regards to FT86 on two separate occaisons by two different people? A common mistake or something more?

At first I though 13th was said instead of 30th which is probably a press day before the opening, but now I'm starting to think that there could be a separate event on the 13th in Tokyo solely for the FT86 launch?

I thought it was a mistake, just odd to have seen to independent sources make the same mistake.

But it would be kinda odd for them to debut the car at what is basically the end of the show (the Dubai show runs the 10th through the 14th.) I can't think of a car that was debuted after the press day(s) at the beginning of the show.

Nov. 30th is the press day for Tokyo. That is when it will be unveiled.

I fully expect it to be at Tokyo show, but I did start thinking of maybe a special event.

I think it stems from the video which can be seen on another thread. The guy talking had a thick japanese accent so when he said "November 30" it sounded like "November 13"

I'm fluent in Engrish, so perfectly understood what he said in the vid :bellyroll: :bellyroll: :bellyroll:
