Those running e85...do you have idle chirp?
As most of you are aware, these cars tend to chirp like crickets or birds at idle after they break in and after the car is warmed up. Polls on this forum show 80% of owners seem to be experiencing it. There are theories, even some somewhat scientific tests that seem to point to ethanol content in gasoline being the culprit.
So my question to all of you running a custom e85 tune, and e85....do you get the chirp? If so, did you get it before running e85? If not, same question. |
so does no replies mean no? Or does it mean I should shut up.

Mine seems quieter actually with 2k miles on e85. Maybe its the louder exhaust :)

No chirp but didn't have it before either. Been on a Visconti tune with higher idle since just after break in though.

Our car runs on E and never experienced this chirp issue prior to going on E nor since.
