Any trustworthy scion dealer near manhattan?
 

Dear enthusiasts,

My attempt to factory order fr-s went horribly wrong. I found my local dealer didn't do anything since I put $1500 deposit 7 weeks ago. I still can't believe this kind of stuff is happening to me, but I have to recover.

I am looking for a dealer who is close enough (I don't have a car now) and is willing to do business based on trust. Thanks for reading and safe driving!

Im sorry to hear this just once again, well my friend let me tell u i was to 3 or 4 different dealerships and same sad story. I ended up hunting down mine in the midle of no were and drove 6 hours mad but drove 6 hours smiling back : ) . Look arround ulll find what u want!!! Dealerships cant order them only alocate them ( migth aswell play the lotto ) good luck!!

Thanks xpicer, I should hunt it down as you recommended. I didn't know factory order is not possible. My contract with them has the word "factory special order" lol.

Ayaz2589, it was scion of manhattan. I will post full details once this issue is resolved and save others from the similar pitfall.

SUNRISE TOYOTA in Oakdale NY (Long Island)
has a Whiteout 6mt and Ultramatine 6mt... they also have 3 automatics but dont kno what color

for whatever its worth, i bought 2 cars from them (scion of manhattan) including my FR-S without issues. I know a few others on this board who also bought from them without hassle.

yeah i bought mine from scion of manhatten as well, a lot of people have trouble there it seems...

this sounds like every dealership. The easiest option is to find a dealer with the exact car that you want in stock. Go check it out and make sure condition, mileage, and price are all in check, then just bring it home.

I can't even get a simple taillight replacement done smoothly, I can't imagine how much more of a hassle it is to get a whole car in.
