Foodies?

Anyone else on here who are avid food adventurers? I drive hundred of miles out of my to other states to try food. Fly to other countries and all that fun stuff. I also do food photography. o_O

But is there anyone else out there who loves their cars AND loves a damn delicious meal?! Lol

I'll post up a few sample pictures... at some point.

Exact reason why I want a smaller DD. That 100 mile trip would cost me 60 bucks round trip in my current ride.

Please post pics :)

Just a couple pastries on the forum. You can check out the flickr for more. I'm gonna go and upload the rest of my photos; however, I've seen a couple people steal my work and post it up on blogs claiming it was their own. lol

None of my car photoshoots are up and some of my landscape shots aren't up either. Waiting for my little logo to finish then I'll upload the rest. :D

I'm dieting too. Well keeping balanced and all that fun stuff. Eating out is once a week of course! :P

Have you had any exotic animals?!?! lol

Ryuu0u 09-13-2011 12:52 AM

Hrrmm I've had Balut which is duck/chicken embryo if that counts as exotic. On my trip to the Philippines im sure i had dog at some point because some of the meat did not taste like beef or pork. lol Once i finally graduate i plan on doing the whole bizarre foods thing for sure! hehe

Tartine Bakery, SF followed by Bi-rite ice cream down the block. Mmm...

or Extraordinary Desserts in SD? Beautiful looking cakes

Recently I had something in China that I honestly could not put a name to. My uncle said it was some wild animal...and he failed to give a description. He said he couldn't say what it looked like, just that it is kinda short...so that rules out deer, dog, horse, etc. The meat was like beef but with a VERY wierd taste. Didn't really like :/

Now that I live closeish to SF I think I should try some interesting food more often :)

I like my food, and like to eat out at the flash places when I can. There's only a handful of 'world quality' places here in Aust, and they are still behind.

Best meal I've ever had was at Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand in Vegas!
Cost heaps, but I'd go back there in a heartbeat! Had an absolute ball!

Only booked 4 months in advance, and flew 1/2 way around the world to eat there lol..... went to USA for honeymoon!

Mmm... you can try hitting the Bouchon, loved their breakfast in Vegas, but they also have one in Napa and I think they're opening one in LA?

Oh and, Earl of Sandwich was my cheapest meal there at LV -___-;

Vegas was awesome for food... You'll love it if you haven't been before.

I really liked sushi at Shibuya MGM grand too, it was a nice experience for sure.

I never spent much time at Planet Hollywood, but I remember seeing dancing girls up on tables!
