iRacing

I have been doing a weekly race with the Rennlist forum for the past several months and its been pretty successful but we could use a few more people. Anyone here playing iRacing looking for a casual/mature weekly race where we change the track every week and the car every month? We all race extremely clean and while we aren't incident free, no one is ever mad at anyone because its all fair racing incidents. Also the talent pool is varied from a couple pretty fast guys to some very average Joes.

If you have a decent PC with a racing wheel/pedals and haven't tried iRacing, you need to. It's a ton of fun and the closest thing you will ever come to for racing excitement short of actually going to the track.

As soon as we wrap up the Tour I'm on at the end of this month, I'm in! Sean A Yoder on iRacing. Add me!

I think I know a guy on the same tour over in the Waltrip garage doing their IT stuff. I'll add you.

Anyone else?

What's the schedule?
I joined iracing a month or two ago and could use some more league racing.

I'm in too but only after a week of having it setup, I moved, so it's still all packed up currently. Will keep an eye on this thread!

Oh, I don't have a mic. Is it required or helpful to have one?

ABQautoxer 09-20-2012 12:03 PM

We race every Wednesday at 7:30pm Eastern starting time (1 hour practice, 20 min qualifying, 30 minute race). I also host a private practice every Monday at 7:30 but its just 4 hours of open lapping where we share setups.

A mic is not required but definitely makes it easier to communicate. You can warn people you are passing, give way to those passing you and discuss setups.
