FRS/BRZ vs. Audi S4
Balanced, light weight, agile, cornering machine vs. Pig fat, euro trash, tree wrapper with poor handling
http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...1193_24931.jpg "superior german engineering" iShaveWithKatana, here's your reality check, deal with it. I could care less. |
i like the 86 waaay better dont get me wrong but i dunno if the audi can be considered a poor handling car with all the tech advances it has and quattro. idk

Four things. 1. Don't feed the trolls. 2. How much less could you care? (it's couldn't ;)) 3. That's not an S4. It's an RS6 Avant, which is an even bigger step up. 4. The driver walked away from that crash. |
i wonder if the frs is fast enough to cut itself in half like that

I test drove a new 2013 Audi S4 yesterday. They are very comfortable, easy to drive cars. But their drivetrain layout is pretty much ideal for a road car that's driven on snow or loose surfaces. Like a Subaru, they use a longitudinal all wheel drive layout with equal length driveshafts. The difference is that they use a V6 engine up front, have an optional dual clutch transmission, an active center differential, and helical/torsen front and rear differentials with the option for an active rear diff like the Evo X.
The problem is that the car as a whole weighs too much and it's tuned for comfort rather than response/performance. So, with that said, if they made an affordable (less than $50k), smaller sports car like the BRZ/FR-S with a V6 engine, dual clutch transmission, longitudinal all wheel drive, multi-link front and rear suspension, and optional active controls, they'd have a winner! |
Oh boy, where to begin? ...actually no. I'm going to lock this thread.
Having constructive debate about FRS/BRZ vs other cars are fine... but I don't think this thread is one of em |
