Yeah, I saw the 225/45, but wasn't sure what the stretch was.

The Drag website says they weigh about 21lbs, so similar to stock. Discount Tire Direct has them in different colors for around $115 for the 17x7.5.

Isn't the weight on Drag wheels over 20lbs?

I like that style of wheel, but what i've never liked is a random red circle on wheels. It doesn't look bad by any means, but it just appears somewhat random to me personally.

The reason I chose it was because the interior stitching is red so it kind of matched that. I imagine machined lips would go well if you had the chrome piece. I just wasn't a fan of the gloss black the machined version had. Gold was too bright for it as well. The red also helps to break up all the black going on in the rim. Personal choice.

Yes, about 21lbs so it's similar to stock. You can save 4lbs in other ways if you really plan to worry about weight savings.

As far as the Hankooks, turn in response feels quicker. The actual movement of the car seems more responsive/felt as well. It feels as though I can control which end of the car rotates because the actual rotation is felt earlier and easier before grip limit is reached. Tires are also a bit louder closer to the limit of adhesion.

I had those tires on my GTi - they were EXTREMELY grippy and not terribly priced either.

I'm considering those wheels in their gunmetal color for my red FR-S... I really want something lightweight - i've had experience dropping a couple pounds per wheel and got addicted to the results in feel and agility...

Still, mesh/split y style wheels that aren't equal or heavier than stock are RARE, so I may just get these...
