I sold my car today so now im one step closer to getting my frs :). I even got what I wanted for my car. Sold my 07 scion Tc for 15000$ and they bought the air ride parts I was selling separate for another 1000$. So I got a good down payment for the frs now.

What's everyone think about getting 16k for a 07 Tc with 93k miles in it lol. Almost as much as u bought it for. I guess the mods paid off.

I think this is great. A large down payment (if not full upfront payment) is such a gratifying way to buy a vehicle. Congrats and i commend you on your financial faculties. I have no comment on the mods.

Haha yeah I know it was a wow factor car for shows but that's what the buyer liked so It let me sell it for more than kbb so I'm happy. I'm doing way less and more of a clean look with the frs. I wanna Beable to autox it if I want and I'm so excited not to deal with the Lamborghini doors on a DD and taking every bump at slow angel from body kit.

I felt the same way when I was given a fair amount for what I wanted in the trade-in for my MX-5. Usually I don't experience as good of a deal compared to private-selling a vehicle (or better)... But this time I did.

Omg going from a manual scion Tc to driving a v8 f150 with no power lock windows or even a cd player sucks. And the gas blows compared I can't wait to get the frs and give my dad his truck back lol. So I've been reading all the warranty issues and stuff people are having with trimming and vvti and chirp and all that with the cars and I'm trying to decide if I want to wait to get my frs or not. Also how long do u all think until they start fixing these issues before they ship the cars out or should I wait till 2014s come out and just save money till then?

put my deposit on my frs today. was a pain to get them to let me preorder the one with no add on from south east toyota but after bugging them i got a whiteout MT with only the trunk mat added and no mark ups do not bad. should be here 10/5/12 or 10/10/12

They didn't put my deposit in the system for 3 days and in those days the 2 frs I wanted got pre bought by then :( now its a waiting game.

waiting blows i have 2 different dealers looking for one now for me and neither can give me a date

man that tc is so riced out
