It was awesome to meet everybody yesterday! It was a blast to drive in our FR-S/BRZ and we should do it regularly!

Do you not need front plates in texas?

I think they got rid of them a couple years ago, glad we have never had to have them here.

it's required but legislative hasn't agreed on a penalty yet so until January when they meet again, we're okay :D

Cops wont pull you over just for not having front plates...but if you get over for anything else, they'll probably tack on as a fix it ticket.

I think they forgot to add the penalty part of it when they rushed it in order to take another break...... So technically we still need a front license plant but there is no penalty.

I have never been pulled over for not having a front license plate in Texas. YMMV.

Also, a total noob question. How to you thank a post?

@Guff can you get this moved to Frs/gt86 media and photos, would be.nice if everyone could see this thread :)

I got pulled over in WA for lack of a front plate, so I ordered the grimmspeed BRZ mount.

Gaaahhhhh, I wish I could have been there guys...
