weird plastic squeaking noise (back seats)
 

hey guys, just got the 86 for 5 weeks now...

im just wondering whether any of you guys have experienced a slight squeaking notice whenever you push your palm towards the SIDE of the car (from the back seats)....

its really hard to describe....but basically (my gf noticed this)...whenever someone is seating at the BACK seats, if you push ur palm towards the plastic (side wall) and push towards the window (the 30 CM area directly below the rear speakers )....theres a plastic squeaking noise??

is this normal? can anyone try this out?? i only have this problem BEHIND the driver's seat....not on the passenger side's back seat....:bow::thanks:

AHhh! man... i know there's a nut there you can unbolt then pull the rear bucket seat out, maybe it's loose. I don't know, I'm just throwing ideas. you didn't thrash the car side to side that hard, right? unless you had struts on, go for your life! i think something's bent and applying pressure produces the squeaky sound.

I've only just relised on Saturday evening how easy it is to remove all the covers and interior cosmetics off the car. SO AWESOME FOR MODDING!

thank SHO, yea this seems to be it....i dunno whether this is serious stuff or not, but yea would love to get this fixed....i HATE random squeaky noise....not to mention the freaking dash squeaks sometimes if the road is bumpy...sighh

jus called the dealer and arranged an inspection for this thursday!:mad0259:
