I havent been doing anything on my cars today since no work and wife out shopping withfriends & my little girl, so went to finally have chance to change my brake master cylinder to a non abs r32 skyline master cylinder. As soon as i take off the brakebooster to clean the firewall i saw rust, I hate rust

Looks like from the old leak i got from the clutch master cylinder, i swear when i changed that i made sure the fluid that touched the paint was clean, i guess that was not enough :(

That's sucks. It's pretty rare for a SoCal car to get rust but damn you have a sandblaster!!! I see Central Pneumatic so I'm taking a wild guess and say Harbor Freight?!

Since it's surface rust, would sandblasting work better than the gel?

Lol yeah harbor freight ftw... I was thinking about the rust gel but i was thinking of doing more sand blasting on other non car related rust.

Hey if you need the sand blaster let me know

They got some good deals. Not the best, I broke one of their "Chicago" brand tools before they gave me a new one w/out any questions.

I can't think of an immediate use but good to know you have one available. :happy0180:
