Shipment of frs/brz around oct. 1st
 

So I put a deposit down on an frs the other day at gladstone toyota. And im wondering how many others are waiting for their frs/brz now, and when your dealer said that your car will be here. One dealer tells me the end of the month, another says in a week. And then when I tell another dealer I put a deposit down at gladstone and they told me oct. 1st, they say " oh man thats a lie, but we got one here now!" Or "we got one coming in" its annoying. So just kinda want to know what they're saying to everyone else.

All lies.

There are shipments coming in about twice a month but if you want a car that they hadn't already ordered, you're probably SOL until Q2 next year or so.

i have spoken to several, (like 9) dealerships before getting mine. Dealerships get cars on the end of the month/beginning of the month. Talk to each dealer and only put money down on a car that you know will be allocated to them. Ask them for the VIN once it has been confirmed. I've heard the same thing you have from MANY dealers about them not getting it in or vice versa. The only thing is you better be ready to buy once it comes in. I can give you the name of the sales person at Port Angeles who got mine in the 1st time i called their dealership. I had to drive 200 miles to get mine, but the experience was top knotch.

I called dealerships almost everyday and picked one up that way.

yeah ive been in contact with about 7 dealers from seattle to portland, and they say they have a some coming in, and the other dealer im dealing with doesnt, like they're telling me the truth but also lying lol. gladstone toyota has like 6 allocated to them, and the black one was not spoken for. said it was in build status and should have a vin to confirm it all in a week. i just kinda compiled all the knowledge i got from every dealer ive been talking too and figured there is a shipment coming in at the end of the month, since thats when they all told me they would have an frs or brz there. was just wondering if anyone else has one on order and they were told the same thing i was.

Great, called gladstone toyota and now they say it wont be here till the end of next month. Funny how the date changes after you put down a deposit. I knew they were full of sh*t, like I wont make them refund my deposit. The search continues!

The dealership in Wilsonville has one. Silver. Full five axis kit. Asking just under 31k. 120+ miles on it tho.

It looks like the dealer where I got mine has a Hot Lava MT.

Ive been in contact with jason a wilsonville about the silver one, and not a fan of hot lava. Gladstone told me october 1st for the raven, put a deposit down and now they say november lol. So I told them to refund my deposit. So now their sales manager swares toe me that he will have a black one there by the 1st, I told him you have till wednesday.

I know a salesmen (friend's step dad kind of) at Doxon Toyota/Scion and he told me yesterday that I was really lucky I got mine because there are only 19 allocated to the NW this month.

I wouldn't trust anything they say based on my experience with them. I was promised the world, and they sure as hell under delivered.

I got in touch w/ the Lithia Scion in Springfield. And they are getting a couple by the end of next month. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

Huh? I got my car in August so he was talking about September.

I was promised a date, then 4 other dates before it finally showed up, and the car's VIN "went missing" for 2 days in the system before it appeared at that dealership. What I was getting at is that they'll tell you stuff they think you want to hear, but the reality of it is, I don't think the folks @ Doxon are even sure themselves.

This thing about 19 other cars might be true, but it could also be a sales pitch to push you into buying one? I dunno, but I would hardly trust them and I've already directed our second acquisition and other customers elsewhere. My 2 cents in regards to dealing with that "top scion dealership."
