Ordered my set of 17x9 et35 gun blue from @RavSpec Monday night. My 255/40/17 nitto nt05's arrive tomorrow. Hopefully the wheels not to long after

spitfire481 04-04-2014 02:44 PM

huge thanks to @RavSpec . ordered my wheels late monday night, they arrived to me this morning (friday). tires came from discount tire thursday. supposed to mount them up next monday night so pics will follow.

17x9 et35 gun blue 57dr's with 255/40/17 nitto nt05's. i run about a 1-2 finger wheel gap and -2 camber up front and -2.5 rear. should sit almost the same as my current 18x9 setup so i think ill be good. if not it might take another half degree of camber up front but i doubt it

Lock to Lock I don't see any problems either. (Uncompressed anyway). I think it may rub the fender liner if compressed at full lock, but I am not sure of too many driving conditions when that would happen.

I may try and compress the front to see if there are any fender clearance issues, but I think it is looking good.

FYI, I am running only -0.7 degrees camber in the front (using crash bolts). Thats all I could get out of one of the sides while the other side would go to a little over a degree.

Here is the best picture I could take of the clearance between the wheel/tire and the springs (Top of tire, looking down)

This is 17x9 +35 with a 245/40 tire (Hankook Evo V12)

Hey Imrac, do you have any pictures of how the 17x9 57DR's look on the RCE yellow springs? That's looking like the exact setup I want.

spitfire481 04-08-2014 07:23 PM

17x9 et35 from @RavSpec
255/40/17 nitto nt05
1-1.5 finger gap all around
-2 front camber, -2.5 rear
Black center caps are also on the way before someone comments haha

Best wheels I've seen yet. Then again at a thousand bucks a piece they should shit golden eggs for breakfast too.

@spitfire481: Very clean and nice!

amazingbrz 10-06-2014 03:58 PM

Hey Dude, Nice setup

I actually have the exact same Tire/Wheel setup on gold, but Havent gotten a chance to put on coils yet.

Just wondering How the fitment and ride is? and if you had to roll your fenders to make it fit?

Thanks Man
