Why e85

Ive noticed most people want cheap power here. They want it now.
E85 is kind of like cheating in that regards. It leads not to innovative engines. Build high power from pump gas, And Ill give my respect to their abilities as an innovator. :sigh:

Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. It's closed minded people like this that limit build potential not fuel sources.

E85 is a more ready alternative to race fuel that allows you to run more aggressive timing, and in turn making more power safely.

How is that cheating? It is pump gas technically speaking, just 85% ethanol. Most already has up to 10% ethanol anyways...

If it helps me achieve 400whp from a this engine, I couldn't care less if it's considered "innovative" or not.

True Story....No such thing as cheating when making power! Like Don said in fast and furious "Ask any racer, any REAL racer. It doesnt matter if you win by and inch or a mile; winning is winning"...Doesnt matter how you make power, if something has a positive gains, its always innovative to me.

I believe that was Dom. as in Dominique. I could be wrong though. Either way... he was in my face.

I'll be sure to let John Force know that his Nitro Methane funny car is "cheating" and he should go back to pump gas door slammers.

But guys is naws cheating?

Superhatch 09-13-2012 04:50 PM

Serious question:

Drought + No subsidies = E85 costing the same as race gas?

Is anyone worried about this?

I'm not worried about price, I just hope the Wawa opening by me will carry it. Typically performance and gas mileage/price don't mix.
