Need help choosing...
 

Hey all - need some feedback from members on this board...

Without getting into too much details..I have a friend who is debating between a purchasing a Boxster S vs. Z4. This will be for the latest models. He is having trouble deciding between the two...I think he definitely wants a drop-top so the choices are those two. If you had the cash for both, which one would you opt for and why?

Personally, I would go with the Z4. Both cars are very comparable, but the Z4 is cheaper, just as quick, looks better (both inside and out), and is more reliable.

If your friend decides to buy a Porsche, make sure he buys a 911.

Boxster by far. Simply on a higher plateau of performance compared to the Z4. Z4 is more of a GT, Boxster can be that as well as a sports car.

Then again, I am mid-engine biased.

I like the new Boxster, looks much better then the old Boxster.

Do like both & am FR layout fan... but I do like new Boxster, so gonna go w Boxster

I'm going with Z4, only because I hate porsche.

Both cars are awesome. Can't really go wrong, IMO. In coupe form, I think the Z4 is one of the best looking cars out there. But since he wants convertible, I think it's a tossup in terms of looks.

Boxster hand down for me

Boxster has a proper high revving engine :)

Never driven a Z4 but have driven the new Boxster S. It is such an amazing car. So much better than the old one.

Hmm I think i see more pro-Porsche responses...anything else you would suggest (keep in mind it has to be new not used).

Honestly, the new Boxster S looks amazing. Its performance numbers speak for themselves as well

I have always been a fan of the older Z4 M styling, but in recent years the looks seem to have dropped off. I'd get the porsche hands down for both performance and looks.

The new Boxter S appeals more... Tell your friend to be careful in choosing too many options on the Porsche though... Price tag skyrockets if you do! :scared0016:
