Milage App.

Was curious what app if anything everyone was using to track milage with? I'm looking for something for the I-phone.

fuelly.com

Click one of the cars in my sig for an example. They have a phone app to let you enter your fill-ups too.

Thanks all, will check out fuelly.

Excel...

I would just use Fuelly, as you can easily text in your fuel-ups without having to open an app and mess with that.

However, I have heard good things about MileBug, Trip Cubby, and Road Trip Lite. Trip Cubby/Road Trip both have free/paid versions so obviously try out the free version first. MileBug only comes in paid, I believe. But I think all have roughly the same features, including the ability to export your data into Excel.

That's a very helpful response. There are many legitimate reasons to track mileage. Maybe you have a preferred gas budget every month and want to meet it. Maybe you need to calculate business deductions like I do. Don't be an ass.

Miles traveled divided by gallons needed to fill up you need an APP?

For records-keeping, yes.

I don't know about you, but personally I like to keep tabs on how my engine is running. And keeping an eye out for sudden dips in mileage is one way to do that.

Frankly, ignorance isn't a state I enjoy.

I've been using AccuFuel for years on all my cars. I've been real happy with it, and has been very useful looking at trends.

With that said, I keep track of all my maintenance (cars, trucks, motorcycles, offroad, boat, etc...) via the Car Minder app. If I had Car Minder before, I would just use this to keep track of my gas mileage. Although, I'm not sure how good it is in comparison to AccuFuel.

I've also been using Fuelly recently, which is a cool way to track. I just wished they had a native iPhone app.
