Small window door issue (rubber seal)

Hi Guys,

I got issue with the small window from the driver door. The rubber at the top of the molding was stretch because the glass was clearly sitting too high forcing the rubber up. So a good friend of mine who work at subaru stealership for many years pointed that out for me. Yesterday when they replaced the glass and molding (one piece) under warranty the rubber was already torn. So check that out on your car maybe that's why some of you have some whistling when driving with the windows closed. Believe it or not this little window and frame cost 400$ CAD:confused0068:

Sorry for my average english i hope everything is clear :D

Thanks for posting this. I don't have a whistle, but the rubber is torn at the top. I wondered if this was a common issue.

No problem !

The dealer will take care of you.

Others will show up im pretty sure.

We found it by comparing each side and the driver side was clearly wrong.

I had mine replaced a little while ago due to it being torn as well.

Got it replaced, new one seems to not stretch it so much anymore

Thanks for the info.
Strangely I have wind noise but the corner rubber molding is not broken, been irritating me since I took delivery of the vehicle.
