I will peer pressure you to doing some research and knowing what you want out of the car and if the wheels/tires sizes you want will reach your goals in driving experience.

Hell, the $4000 you have will buy the AVO Turbo which is expected to cost $3600-3800. Figure in labor unless you DIY.

I have 4k now, the AVO kit is likely still months from release. I haven't seen a completed pic yet from AVO, so I'm not sure they're close to release anytime soon. Who knows maybe they'll find this and post :D. I should have a bigger budget by then, enough to buy it plus the 4k I have now to spend.

Because it's my DD, the choice I make on wheel sizing isn't as important as someone that's going to 'compete'. I like the staggered look and 8.5/9.5 will get me the tire sizing needed for the extra power on the street. When I say peer pressure, that's based on what 18x8.5/9.5 wheel set to get.

Nice dude. I'm afraid to invest in wheels right now. I do not want to throw off the balance of this car when it comes to maneuvering. Everything seems to go together in harmony right now. I wouldn't mind summer performance tires though on 17x7.5

I hear ya. Fortunately in Florida summer performance tires are the only tires

For the plans I have, I'm afraid 7.5 width isn't gonna cut it. I had to move to 8.5s with my AWD talon project and it's only 500 crank hp.
