DSG / DCT - If The GTI can do it...

I was killing some time today and cross-shopping some other cars. I know we discussed this in one of our off-topics tangents before, but would you pay extra for a DSG transmission? VW offers it in the GTI for an extra $1100, Hyundai is considering it for the Veloster, heck you can get one in a Fiesta now.

Unproven transmission in a tuner car? No thanks. Especially considering increased initial/maintenance costs.

Subaru working on a 7 speed DSG, so could be very well possible in the future.
