What, you think the R32/3/4 GTR is the fastest car on the planet or something? :iono: |
Yes, 100% agree, that was the list I was using. This is on a race track, in flat out race mode, very different conditions to the street you agree? :iono:
As I said, even talking stock, an Ek civic type R is quicker around Tsukuba than an R32 gtr. And that is on a track, let alone a street. :) Apart from the R35's, I would say in all fairness, the first 'real' GTR on that list is #43. As I said before, look at all the evo's ahead of it. :) My first point: R32 gtr's are nothing on a r35, let alone an r33 or r34. It's evolution. I've driven all of them, and the r35 is a quantum leap ahead of the pack. It's typical Japanese, everything just works. Maybe people want that 'I'm going to die' feeling when driving their car? (And Nismo Z tune stock? :bellyroll: and neither is Mugen RR) |

Evo beating GT-R time? Who cares. That wasn't even in the top. Your first point? No, your first point was Quote:

& EK is over 10 yrs old. AE86 is close to 30. Countach is close to 35.. and the point is? and in the end Quote:
You gonna do without proof, so here's mine. GT-R>Civic Type-R stock vs stock, tune vs tune, & street or track. If you have driven more GT-R than me and don't see the statement to be true, you haven't driven actual GT-R before |
GTR oil pumps still explode at high rpm. Just sayin'...

Gtr's are what 1550-1600kgs? And put out what 200kw at the wheels?
Not exactly supercars..... |

'man over machine', and 'drivers cars'...people wonder why I absolutely refuse to let go of the AE86.
There's a reason my toys are old school. Its one of the reasons I'm excited about the FR-S. From the sound and look of it all, it appears to be a car a 'driver' can enjoy pushing its limits, without fighting against a super ECU that wants to control everything. Edit: Just noticed this thread shifted topics pretty quick in the later pages. We doggin' on the R35? Pro's and Cons to the car, but I'd say everything given, the R35 has held up to the legacy of the "GT-R" pretty well. Its just way modernized, too much so for me to be super into it. And you guys are arguing the wrong GT-R's. Real men drive KPGC10's w/ Individual Carbs. R32 is still my second favorite. Would rather have a JZA70/80 than one though, but that's my fanboiness coming out. @fat: I don't think that's a scientifically based list on Ichi's part, its just his personal pref. in Japanese cars. Sorta like how mine is Toyota>Nissan>Mazda>Subaru>Mitsu>Honda. |
