Detailer

Does anybody know a very good detailer on Oahu? I've been trying to find somebody to opticoat but I don't think anybody does it on island.

Try hitting up the Pakshak forums to see if they know anyone that does it. Im not sure if Shea does it (Sheas Luxury Detail) but hes a great detailer as are others who frequent Pakshak.

I'd go to Shae's or Call Ranney Pak the owner of Pakshak he can do it too

I would also check out Lanson @ 20/20 detailing.

Not to dredge up an old topic, but my car is now eligible to get washed and detailed (after being in a hit an run a while ago). So I'm taking mine up to Todd Oya in Waipio. I will report on what I see of his past work, and his quote for literally transforming my car back to brand new.

Aww lame. Hope the damage wasn't too bad!

It was bad at the time...complete rear sub-frame needed replacement. Is all good now excerpt for some minor shop related damages I'm pursuing.

So I went to see Todd Oya at Revision Audio. He said he could make the cars paint brand new in finish, but he took some persuading to try out contaminant removal via IronX...he said he was an old school clay bar guy. He was also onboard with trying out opti-coat. Yay! Price wise he was clear around $300.
For shits and giggles I went to Sheas. He charges nearly twice as much ~$530. I've seen his work and love it...but it's pricey.

I've got some decisions to make...

I would now like to say, don't go to see Todd Oya at Revision Audio. Even with a month in advance appointment done in early December, he bumped me off this weekend till February...the reason? Just because he has two cars to detail for a show soon. The kicker is, he told me only when I called to make sure we were good for our appointment tomorrow. His work looks alright, but he clearly has no clue in the customer relations part. BIG THUMBS DOWN!

Now Shea must think I'm a schmuck for cancelling on him twice. Time to check in with PakShak.

Ranney only details cars on Saturdays and Sundays. I suggest you schedule an appointment with him as early as possible because my wait time is a month lol. His prices are very reasonable!

Kick him out or move out. Essentially he purloined your equipment and ended up mucking up your car...you should really charge him.:paddle::mad0260:

Go see Ranney!
