Weird sounds and liquid dripping from car

I recently got an FRS and having a blast driving, but earlier I noticed a clicking and popping kind of sound after I turn off the engine. It sounds like it's coming from the engine; I don't know how to really describe the sound, it's kind of like the sound of lightly tapping a metal pipe with a wench. And while I was examining the car i noticed some liquid dripping under the bottom of the car directly under where the engine sits. Anyone have any idea what this could be? I work during the day so I won't be able to get to the dealer till Saturday.

Sounds like typical noises you should hear when shutting off a car, were you running the A/C?

Sound you describe is normal. Liquid is normal too if it's colorless and you had your AC on.

Either this is your first car ever or you're trolling. Every car I've had makes those sounds after stopping due to the metal expanding and contracting once stopped. As for the water, seeing as you're in PA and its pretty hot today, I'm betting Billman is right and you had your AC on.

If you have your AC on for a while on a hot day and it doesn't drip water once turned off that could actually be a problem because then your AC condensation drain line could be plugged and it will eventually start to stink due to mold and bacteria. To make a run on sentence shorter, its normal.

Yeah I had my ac on. I never noticed this when I had my TC so I thought it was an actual problem.

Examine the liquid...it shouldn't look oily. Taste it, it won't kill you because it is probably just water like the others said.

Lol taste it... Do you normally dip your finger on driveway/garage floor puddles to find out the fluid? :laughabove:

As said, it's condensation from the A/C.

Is this your first car with a catalytic converter and air conditioning?
Might check your muffler bearing or blinker fluid, sounds like it's a combination of the two. :bonk:

the sound of pipes / exhaust cooling

If it isn't oily looking, yea, I have on a few occasions(MY driveway, MY dirt/filth). A little dirt won't kill you, it can make you stronger though by building up resistances. :)
