We have a rape/kidnap latch in our cars you could have pulled and gotten yourself out of that situation! :lol:

I have this problem and am able to open my trunk manually with my key. But I cant find this button you guys are talking about. Is this button in the trunk or in the car??

follow instructions above. Once the trunk is open, look towardst eh driver's side and you will see a small button. Push the button to turn the trunk unlock feature back on

This happened to me yesterday for the first time... pushed the button inside the trunk and solve the issue...

I have a keyless key.. Locked out of the trunk how do I open it lol

Just pop the key out of the fob. You might need to use some muscle since the plastic part on the key is really small.

The button in the trunk is not a bad idea but badly placed. It is possible for stuff in the trunk to slide into it.

If the switch is activated then the trunk release buttons on the dash and the trunk lid are disconnected.

The only way in is to use the emergency metal key hidden in the key fob.

In the EU we don't have that button we also don't have that green emergency release handle, we can continue to kidnap people and put them in our trunks without having to worry they can escape or fearing that we can't open the trunk to exchange them for money.
