Vehicle Registration says 2013 TOYOTA
 

I don't know if all states are this way or what but I just got my registration in the mail from the dealership and it has the FR-S listed as a:
2013 Toyota 2 Door
Even the Secretary of State thinks it should be a Toyota not a Scion! :p

Same here in california

Even insurance companies have it as toyota in their systems

better than to be a scion.. haa!

My insurance card says "scion tc!" Apparently the FRS isn't in their system?? Dumb gecko.

I have the dumb gecko too :) but my card says FR-S.

Insurance card says Scion FR-S my title and registration says Toyota FR-S

in CA most scions are registered as Toyotas .... same is true with my older TC 2007. Toyota. i dont think its FRS specific issue.

pink slip also listed fr-s as a toyota's

Perhaps I did not get the memo. How is this an issue and why should I be concerned?

I have gecko too and my card says FRF. The dumb bi*&$ apparently didnt understand me. But it's proof that they (the insurance clerk) can put whatever the hell they want on your insurance card.

i have the same issue as i received my renewal for my NY registration & plates

says
Year: 2013
Make: Toyota
Vin: JF1Zxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Color: WH
etc...

So I called the DMV office and Ms. White said that if Toyota makes Scion it is considered to be in the same class or classification. As far as NY DMV is concerned TOYOTA is correction for their system for a SCION and it doesnt matter if you get pulled over if this is the only thing that is "wrong" as long as the vehicle year, color and VIN match (this being the most important) you wont have any issues renewing or anything. Just more of an slight inconvenience than anything. its like when a 2 door sports car is considered just a 2 door car and a 2 door car is considered to be a sports car LOL

I went ahead and renewed my registration.. with no issues.

Now... maybe i should get a personalized plate... hmm
