Forza 4 FR-S on XBox360 vs. Real Life FR-S
 

Since I'm stuck overseas right now, I'm reduced to test driving the FR-S through my 360 with the steering wheel and pedals on Forza 4. I've managed to squeeze a 1:54.6 out of her at Laguna Seca, but this car is really hard to keep planted going into a corner. As soon as I lift off, the ass end is coming around.
You really have to concentrate on rolling off the gas, easing onto the brakes, and letting the natural rotation guide it through the corner. There is no room for fuck ups here.

I was wondering if the car is really like that in real life, where any spirited drive turns into D1 whether you like it or not. I think if the car wasn't so squirrely going into the corners, it could be faster coming out. I guess this is the difference between the BRZ and the FR-S.

That being said, it is hilarious to just smash the e-brake about 50 yards from the corner, dial in full counter steer, mash the gas and wait until you can see the exit of the corner again. Good times.
