hmm... I like the individuality and all... but it's really tall... couldn't reach the reverse well. And it doesn't look very heavy...

Ive never understood why people do that. Lose almost all functionality and make it look terrible

I don't feel like it loses functionality. Some people like the monkey grip better than the over the top grip. I've seen people shift with the wine glass grip before too! Which was strange.

This is a classic drifter style shift knob, most of you will be unfamiliar with that. It will prolly function better as you do waht your had to be level with the steering wheel.... at least when competitive racing / track driving.
