This is what 40,000 watts of bass do to your head
I saw this vid and made me laugh

Do people actuall find music that loud enjoyable or is it just for bragging rights. I would hate to be them at 60 when they have early onset hearing loss.
|
It's bragging rights. I'll still put a nice system in my car with a decent subwoofer if the factory one is terrible, which it is most of the time, but I've come to appreciate clean far more than loud. I guess that's me getting old. :D

I would hate to be near them at sixty. All that shouting. Cute vid, tho. |
HAHA evey bolt will losen up withen 2 months lol, how would it be for a human ears :D

Vehicles like these don't move though, so it doesn't matter if bolts fall out. They weld the body together even more, fill doors with concrete, etc.. All in the name of producing the most SPL. When I say bragging rights, I mean it in the same way that you'd have when you won a race.

I would want a nice stereo that plays music nicely with some good bass, but most of the time the factory system is good enough to be left alone IMO. This is just unecessary, not to mention heavy and not good for performance and fuel economy. I'm 14 btw and I find this really stupid. |

I'm not a huge bass guy, so I just use a little 8" in a sealed enclosure in my car, with 350RMS going to it. Clean > SPL IMO. Current system in the ITR is Hybrid Audio front stage running active through a McIntosh amp and the 8" powered by an Audison LRX1 |
Pretty funny shit.
I agree with everyone, clean is the best. |
Lol... That's silly. Keep my car cleannnn~~~
