Picked up my Asphalt AT today!
 
After cruising around these forums for months and watching all of the "got mine" threads come and go, i finally broke down and bought one! Cant wait! :burnrubber:

For those in the atlanta area, stone mountain toyota is a good group of folks!

Like hell they are. Those guys are retards. Those assholes lied to me telling me they had a Raven MT on the lot, I even asked them to go outside and make sure it was still there. They put me on hold and "went to check", came back and confirmed that they did have it on the lot. So I drove an hour out there from Douglasville only to get there and find out they only had a Firestorm AT and that they had sold the Raven MT the night before. Those asshats took 2 hours of my life and didn't even offer to compensate me for the gas I used to get there because of their lies. Fuck Stone Mountain Toyota.

lol thats a sad sad story man. i would of been pretty pissed to. Did u end up looking at the firestorm?

Nope, I had ZERO intention of getting an automatic. Especially after they lied to me to get me out there. I wound up getting my Asphalt MT from Team Toyota in Lithia Springs.

yeh. that's fuked up...

I called my dealer and they said they had a WHITEOUT(knowing that white is really popular). I asked them to check twice and hold it for me. I drove up 45 mins with my wife thinking there's no way they have it. But they did! Got it literally off the transport truck.

WOW! I am so sorry to hear that! I had just the opposite experience. I called about the Asphalt that was advertised and they told me it was still on the lot. Told them i wanted it and to hold it for me. Stopped in the following day and did a market value on my trade. I didn't finance through them (went with PenFed) so the only thing they had work for was assessing the trade. I signed the papers the following day and am just waiting for PenFed to deliver the check which should be today. Never put down a security deposit...

I was torn between ultramarine and asphalt until i saw them both in person. I really liked the way light "plays" with the ultramarine where the brightness of the blue increases, decreases based on ambient conditions. Really makes the lines stand out. Then i saw the asphalt over in Decatur, AL... and that's all it took. Pictures don't seem to do it justice (but i am sure i will post some anyway!). I've been tracking Asphalt AT's ever since.

Yeah i was im the same boat. Ordered ultramarine then saw asphalt and fell in love. Dont get me wrong ultramarine is nice, but asphalt was nicer :D
