Official FT86Club Chatroom?

i'm a member of a video game forum as well, and while it does have a much MUCH smaller community, we have a chatroom on the front index page. i don't know how well that would work for here, since it seems like there's always a hell of a lot of people online, but it would be kinda nice to be able to chat with others.

*sorry for randomness, extremely tired, and have to wake up in 6 hours*

I second this.

I know some or most now at sneaker forums have this and works pretty well.

But I feel like it will be more hectic with the volume of members we have here on FT86.

perhaps allow people entrance based upon the quality of their posts?

I don't know who is going to sit their and determine post quality all day, but it sure as hell isn't gonna be me!! :bellyroll:

Maybe a 100 post minimum?

Or a 2500 post minimum?

wrxgoose 09-08-2012 12:12 AM

2500 post min, + people that the mods think are deserving and amusing?

Years ago I had a standing "Sunday evening chat" with friends. Most of us were usually studying in front of our computers on Sunday evenings anyway, so it was easy to have the chat open and stay in touch. I think it would be cool if FT86Club had this.

to be perfectly honest, (i may have been drunk when i was thinking about it though) i was thinking of something like a Ventrillo server, but those cost money, and we're already gonna be spending enough money on our cars as it is.

My local Subie forum has a chat in their site. Only a member can see it and also has a safe for work chat rule 7am til 8pm (in our local time), so it'll keep it clean chat between those time.

but not sure how well that rule will be for here...
