Ultramarine!

So, I know this is probably lo longer really exciting to most readers, but I got my car today. Picked it up at 11:30 and have travelled over 300km's so far.

Learning to drive manual properly and working extra hard to keep it under 4,000rpm.

Noticed one thing I don't like - left knee can bang against the hard plastic of the centre console.

Other than that, I'm a happy chappy - got told I'm a legend by some random young bloke coming out of a Subway - he was very happy to see an 86 in Toowoomba.

I know what you mean about knee pads. I've pre ordered jdm knee side pad thingy's (gts ones) should get them soon.

Loki556 09-05-2012 08:21 AM

Where/how did you order them?

Me want.

I also wonder what to do with the little space where the heated seats switches would go - looks kinda funny

ordered through Nigel jdm. he is on this forum, Google it and find the site. lots of goodies available for pre order. his shipment just arrived so it won't take long.

that blank space where the seat warmer button goes would be perfect for a boost controller ^_^

Great news Loki, be prepared for the attention of the town, I've only seen two up here in Cairns including my own and other than the demos and lots of people point and stare. You'll get a lot of head turners.

Grats Loki. I had to "re-learn" manual driving after years of auto driving. And to help with keeping revs below 4000 rpm, I have set the buzzer on REV indicator to go off at 3800 rpm.

Below 4000RPM?! how do you guys even get anywhere...
