Pushed Back Again .... the September Edition.
 

Got the word today, June Order's pushed back again.

I ordered 6th of June, 2 or so weeks I was told probably November Production ..... As of today, maybe now December, more likely January production.

I made a call to a guy I know at another Toyota Dealer and he told me he got an e-mail Monday that 2 guys he has placed orders for in May have been bumped from October production to November, maybe December.

ouch! that sucks man... suck how we're not the up there with the big countries for high demand. we're like some where in the middle, so we're not high priority to Fuji Heavy industries. =(

I'll probably be in the same boat having ordered a manual GTS on the 7th of June. On the brightside, at least it would be a 2013 build if it does get pushed to January, which is much better than a Nov/Dec build 2012 car first registered in 2013 when it comes time to sell.

My June order would most likely be in the same boat. My car's rego expires in Jan. Just found a GTS auto available next month. I wanted manual and not the color I was after but I'm taking it anyway.

How many 86's did TMCA say they were going to deliver in 2012?

The Toyota DSM for the 86 says 1500 in 2012 ... But all we are getting in 86 GT Auto's .... Which few people want.

The dealer I was talking to told me he has been allocated 2 a month, all he has seen from July to December allocation is 2 Auto GT's .... We are just getting the bottom of the barrel from production !! :thumbdown: :thumbdown: :thumbdown:

It's like, the distance between getting the car and ordering it has never changed, it is forever prolonged again and again... It's neither getting closer nor further away... Unbelievable

Same boat. Starting to wished I had double dipped and placed an order in the BRZ lottery as well.

Add me to the list of people who ordered GTS MTs on 6th of June. I called last week and he said November build, December delivery but that it was not yet confirmed and would likely be pushed back. oh well, what can you do?

I don't understand y your cars are being pushed back is it because it's the gts . I ordered my gt 3weeks ago and at first the dealer told me December a few days after I placed my order they rang me to tell me that my car was actually going to come late October

I almost have a feeling Toyota is playing some games as they are worried about the possibility of Aus Dollar falling, which would severely affect TMCA profits for the 86.
