Stock Shift Knob Weight
 

Does anyone know the weight of the stock shift knob?

I am having a knob custom made which is 270grams.

I'll stick mine on my digital scale when I get off work today.

It's 198 grams as was measured for another thread.

I tried a couple other knobs and keep going back to the stock one as much as I don't care for the looks and overall feel. It still just shifts that much better when you have learned exactly where the gears are

I have one from TWM that's 490g, a little lower, and round with a smooth finish. At first I missed the red stitching of the oe piece, but this one is just sooo comfortable.

I got 197 grams on mine.
