Audi TTRS Spoiler on the FR-S

So I've been looking around for quite some time for a smallish spoiler that will really work well with the car and help to give it a bit of flair on the rear of the car. I've come to the conclusion, that yes the duckbill looks nice, but I also want something that sticks out a bit more and looks more distinct. I was looking at the Mercedes C63 AMG Black and that really motivated me on how I wanted the spoiler to look. Well that spoiler is impossible to buy, so I had to keep looking. So for about $550 I can pick up a black carbon fiber TTRS spoiler; the question is, will it fit? I cannot find the trunk width of the new audi tt, so I may have to stop by a dealership and measure it myself. Nonetheless, this is how the spoiler looks, would it be possible to photoshop this on a car? I want to get is so bad!!

That would be awesome.

Yeah I'm thinking I'm going to have to pull the trigger on this. It is just a piece of art by itself and it would just flow so well with the car. I'm not a fan of the standard brz spoiler at all.

I would look at the angle of both trunks first see if its similar

Keep us posted. Looks pretty good

I would worry about the trunk angle as well because our trunk does not sit flat, it angles down towards the edges.

I dunno how I feel about it. Are you gonna be running some other aero - kit, splitter, diffuser, anything to go with it? I don't know how it would flow just by itself...

Might look okay I read on an r8 forum the spoiler is 39.5 inches wide at the base, how wide is the BRZ/FR-S trunk?

The back of the Audi slopes downward whereas the rear of the BRZ/FR-S has a bit of a ducktail effect already. Without some significant fabricating of the mounts the winglet would lean way too much forward.

I have a stock spoiler for sale off of our Pirelli World Challenge GTS TT RS. It would be very easy to fabricate mounts for this spoiler onto just about anything. We fabricated the mounts for the new wing we installed in place of the TT RS spoiler, out of Delrin...it cuts and machines almost like butter.

The new Subaru and Scion are very nice, by the way!!

that looks like too much though. I just want something very simple and elegant that fills out the back end of the car. The subaru one is too subtle and boring, a slightly raised dtm style wing would do wonders for this car.

My wife has a TT and I have a BRZ, I can take some measurements if you'd like.

Take pictures of the backs of the cars at roughly the same angle and let those with photoshop have a field day!
