Safety Inspection Sticker Mount

I plan on mounting my inspection stickers to the side of my license plate. Just wanted to make sure it was legal?

Any of you have knowledge on this?

Appreciate it!

its NOT legal.. most cops dont give a crap but some safety places wont pass you for that reason alone and 100% wont pass recon. i know because i had problems with it with my silvia..

i was wondering how much it would be to buy/install the airrex into my frs?

So I asked the guys over at Servco Mapunapuna and they said it was legal now. I bought a bracket but I think I'll hold off for now after a little more research.

Couple sales people at the dealership said they were legal, not sure if their opinions are facts though. :iono:

Did you take the sticker off yourself and move it or did you go in and get a new sticker? :iono: I'm trying to relocate my sticker as well

Ok so i used a heat gun to melt the sticker then peeled it off but like i said its voilded the sticker so i just stuck it on to computer paper and stuck it on with clear contact paper. Lol it worked no trouble from cops. If i got a new one it would only be good for one year hahaha

Mine came right off pretty easily without void appearing but that was because it was on the black portion of the bumper. Too bad they put it on the paint!

anybody know where to pick up the mounts?

Pretty much any auto accessory shop, I picked mine up at local Napa. I tried heat gun, got about half of one off and then failed. These new stickers are too hard. Ended up going to station and getting new one year inspection. And I scratched the paint on the bumper too, boo.
Anyone done recon? I curious where you fit the third plate. The two plate one fits nicely just to the side of the triangle rear fog under the bottom lip. Drill new holes in plate to match holes in bumper lip. Lip has flat section that just fits the two plate. Pop the plastic clip things and used SS bolts & nylocs, 5mm I think.
