FRS vs STi video at Calabogie
 

Taken at Calabogie Motorsports Park at a recent lapping session.

A fellow instructor was driving someone else's STi on NT01s , I was driving my FR-S on stock tires and HP+ front pads. Gave him the point-by and I tried to see if I could stick with him.

Didn't see an STi in the footage, did i just miss it? I did see the quick little RSX... The footage itself was awesome! I love the three-cam setup.

The footage is from the 3-cam view of the STi.

That would be about a 5 hour drive for me I guess. Looks like a nice track, but a hotel would be involved to join any track events. My work schedule likely wouldn't allow that, but you never know.

Wow...you were lurking that entire time! Did the STI have any mods besides the tires? Wagon or sedan?

Front splitter and NT01's as far as I know. Keep in mind that the STi driver was an instructor and admittedly driving a student's car at 8/10ths. I however was at 9-10/10ths and completely at the limit of the tires, maybe another tenth or two. Half a second if I didn't have a passenger.
