a german car magazin says the ft 86 production model to debute at the IAA germany ?
 

yeah hello, i m new here but a long time reader and follower since concept 1 ft 86.

sorry for my bad english but today i read in a german car magazin@work (i think it was the "Auto Bild") that the FT-86 production model will be shown @ the IAA Frankfurt in germany next month 15. sept - 25. sept :confused0068:
well i always thought they would only show the FT-86 II concept @ the IAA and the production model later this year in Tokio or something like this.

oh well so i just registered here to share what i read today i'll try to take a picture of the part from the magazin tomorrow, i can't do it now since i m not at work anymore

maybe someone has read the same in another place and could confirm that information?

Haven't heard but I don't think anyone was expecting it until TAS. If so, definitely grab some pics!

Yeah, the magazine must have mistaken. It'll be great if its true though.

well i also don't believe it myself that they'll show the production model @ the IAA well the hope that it maybe there won't fade for me until the beginning of the IAA. since some say the IAA is the worlds most important car "show"
but i also read myself that the actual production car won't be shown before TAS

just read on a website from another german car magazin (Auto Motor und Sport) that toyota will show the next "Celica" known as the FT-86 @ the iAA but nothing indicating that it will be the production version. still i would really love to see the actual production model @the show in germany :bow: propably won't happen tho
