I will try to do a little traduction of the text in the second image:

The FR-S, a sport car with front engine, rear wheel drive setup.

Build to obtain a "perfect balance" by strategic placement of 2L flat boxer engine in front with rear wheel drive

First boxer engine build with Toyota D4-S direct injection system and injection to the intake, which give better performance and torque without sacrificing fuel consumption

6 speed gearbox, manual or automatic

Lightweight and balanced

Coming to your dealership in 2012, reserve yours now

You'd have to be pretty die hard to reserve it without any details or even an accurate exterior photo.

Reservations scare me, too.

If you plan to buy when it's released you are better off placing a deposit. They are usually refundable. Depending on the actual release date, I may reserve one. It worked out okay for me with the tC.

i don't get it. if this brochure isn't a fake, why would toyota develope this design http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....eneva-2011.jpg
show it on the latest motorshows, arrange photoshoots and marketingvideos, etc. but then go back to the older concept?
don't get me wrong, i like the sharper looking shown in the brochure...i'm just CONFUSED!

Welcome to North America friend, home of Scion (the "youthful" Toyota)!

It looks like there is a disclaimer at the bottom of the first photo that mentions it is just a representative vehicle concept. They are using the 5Axis FR-S for marketing. Based on the mules we've seen and how pretty much all manufacturers handle concept cars, we will probably see a toned down version. The photo you linked is just another concept, although less exotic than what 5Axis did.

What does sharp even mean?

I think the photo you posted is sharp and the scion looks overdone.

I Agree that the Scion FR-S looks way sharper than that FT-86 2 but unfortunately we will get a toned down version of 2 and not 3.

OMG who cares... the actual car will look nothing like either 3 concepts, although if it was up to me, I'd choose the first <3

If it was up to me, I would choose the FT-86 II W/O the LED's on the front. Just remove them and make it all clean, because IMO those LED's are extremely ugly.

Nice ! One of my friend told me that he see this ad in a Scion dealer too. I tought it was fake but from what I see it's the real thing.

Really GREAT to know that we are really getting it in Canada, well from this ad. You know, stupid collision test excluded us for some really nice car.
