Production Numbers Question - Colors
 

Is there a reported list of numbers of cars being built per color? Is there a rare color in the FRS?

Do a new Scion Inventory search and click on the FR-S. You should be able to see colors available for both AT and MT

From what I can see:

86 ATs (Lol, 86?)
31 Whiteout
19 Asphalt
15 Firestorm
14 Raven
7 Argento

40 MTs
15 Whiteout
10 Raven
7 Argento
6 Firestorm
2 Asphalt

Dam, I would think Argento is the most produced. See them everywhere.

Wow, zero Ultramarine and Hot Lava? I'm somehow not surprised. I seem to recall reading that those two colors were produced in much lower quantities.

Yep. I passed up an Argento and Raven MTs waiting for a Hot Lava, then I saw the Asphalt and I liked it enough to finally get it.

I have only seen 3 other FRS around town in since they were released as well as 2 BRZ.

Both BRZ's were white, one FRS was white, one FRS was Hot Lava, and one was Red.

I've only seen two other 86s driving around - a BRZ and another FR-S. The BRZ was the same color as me (E8H, Galaxy Blue Silica) and the FR-S was Firestorm.

There was a breakdown posted some time ago, but I can't recall when. IIRC (as stated above) Ultramarine and Hot Lava were showing some pretty low numbers.

I can probably get the actual numbers, but I think they'd be confidential so not much help there haha. From the looks of things, Hot Lave is going to be the most rare. I'm liking the fact that it looks like I'll have the only one in the area. On the reverse side, the dealership near me has actually sold 3 Ultramarine and has another in stock. I think they've sold the same number of Whiteouts and a couple of Asphalt and Raven. I've only seen one Firestorm on their site.
