AC indoor rustling noise from fan

Hey guys, just started to notice a rustling noise when the AC is on, coming from the fan perhaps, do any of you have a similar problem?
Thanks!

I believe there was a thread about this noise or this noise was talked about in another thread.

I notice this noise too. I don't know if anyone was able to get rid of this noise.

Have this rustling noise but without ac or fan on.

Yes I have this problem too. Mentioned it in a previous thread as well. You can confirm that it's the fan by turning the fan off and the noise should most definitely go away. I wish there was a fix but I have a feeling it's normal.

:thanks:
I understand some things, trying to make it ship-shape, squeaky-free. Nice

Some people (not anyone particular)
act like they've never worked on, or owned a car.
Some shit makes noise when it does the work.

If it's definitely a rustling noise 9 times out of 10 it's because leaves or other debris is resting on top of the cabin air filter. Which should be behind the glove box. All toyotas after about 2004 have cabin air filters and we get people saying this same thing every so often. All you have to do is shake out the filter. Sometimes leaves can get into the fan area, then you have to drop the fan motor to get them out.

Something stuck in the ductwork would be my guess also. If you're lucky, it's caught in the cabin air filter. It might also be just under the cowl infront of the windscreen.

Thanks for the replies. And for the help!
