My BRZ build

Hi guys,

My name is TJ. Some of you guys know me, for those that don't I own a shop in Gaithersburg, and were building a BRZ. We've got a lot of great companies and great people helping out. Some the parts are going to be availabe locally, and I'll try to help you guys out if your intrested in anything were doing.

Our first thing we added was window tinting. It's probly the cheapest and fastest thing to do to change the comfort and apperance of the car. We did 20% on the sides and 70% on the windsheild.

Then we did a full wrap. We used a product called stealth from Xpel. We used the stealth because it protects the cars' paint while also changing the appearance to matte.

We talked to the guys over at TurboXS about getting some parts made for the FRS/BRZ platform. Raj and Mike were suppose to just do an exhaust prototype, but later decided to go all out. Exhaust, Intake, Spacers, Sway bar, and maybe even a turbo kit in the works for the near future. I love dealing with these guys because they know their stuff and are true car enthusiasts.

Here's a pic of the Intake prototype

I refuse to keep the stock sound but wanted the stock headunit (for now ). So a good friend of mine who owns an stero shop called Absolute Electronix (his names Ata) right around the corner in Gaithersburg came by and helped us with the sound system. We did 6.5 component Focals in the front and one JL Audio 10 W7 in the rear in a custom enclosure. He got us a Zed Leviathan amp to power everything. It was a long day but we got 90% of it done. Thanks again ATA the sound system is sick!

I promise to update with final product shots guys

Currently the car is over by Atlantic Motorsports with Cory and Mason getting fitted with some coilovers from Fortune. Also some great car guys with a wealth of knowledge of all things speed related. Can't wait to update those pics. Thanks

The matte white look is awesome!

How much does wrapping the car in the matte cost roughly, materials and labor?

Having a professional wrap a full car correctly will cost you a few grand. If you got time and patience, it should cost under a grand for materials.
